Managing Director of the National Land and Housing
Organization, upon mentioning that the construction of superstructure services
of Mehr Housing sites in cities with a population of over 25 thousand people is
one of the less-noticed tasks of National Land and Housing Organization in the
field of Mehr Housing Completion, stated “Since the beginning of Mehr Housing
construction process in the ‘Government of Prudence and Hope’, construction of
superstructure services including schools, police stations, clinics, libraries
and other cultural and sports equipment, have been on our agenda.”

As reported by the Public Relations of the National Land and
Housing Organization, Ali Nabian divided the construction of Mehr Housing
superstructure services into three groups of schools, police stations, and
other facilities and further added “Establishment of welfare centers to improve
the living standards of the residents, to enhance security and to provide
public services in the vicinity of Mehr Housing sites are among the top
priorities of the National Land and Housing Organization, it should be noted
that 162 schools have been completed and 39 others are under construction. Moreover,
the construction of 32 police stations has been finished and 12 more are under
construction, and in the group of other public facilities including clinics,
libraries and sports centers, 23 cases are completed and 25 others are under
construction.

Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development stated that
the superstructure facilities are under construction at maximum speed
concurrently with completion of Mehr Housing residential units, and further
added, “According to our plans, the construction of 22 schools, 4 police
stations, and 19 other recent superstructure facilities are on the agenda of
the National Land and Housing Organization.”

It is worth to note that construction of Mehr Housing in the
cities with a population of over 25 thousand people is handled by the National
Land and Housing Organization; and in the cities with less than 25 thousand by
Housing Foundation; and in the new cities is the responsibility of Construction
Companies.
