Government Allocates 341 Billion Tomans to Housing Projects in Kerman Province
During a two-day visit by Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzaneh Sadegh to Kerman Province, a joint administrative council meeting was held with the participation of parliament members, local governors, and provincial officials from Bam, Narmashir, Fahraj, Gonbaki, and Rigan counties.
According to the Public Relations Office of the National Land and Housing Organization, Deputy Minister Ali Nabian said that, in response to local demands to accelerate housing projects, around 14 hectares of land in Narmashir and Nezamshahr, 73 hectares in Bam, and 6 hectares in Borouat have been allocated for the National Housing Movement plan.
He added that, under the minister’s directive, the creation of a new township spanning more than 730 hectares in Arg-e Bam New Town has been approved. Its master plan is currently being prepared by a consultant, with development work progressing rapidly.
Nabian noted that all housing sites visited during the trip were undergoing land preparation and infrastructure works.
The managing director of the National Land and Housing Organization underlined that the government has provided approximately 341 billion tomans for housing projects in Kerman Province during the first 11 months of the 14th administration. He emphasized that even during a 12-day conflict, three separate funding installments were made, reflecting the ministry’s strong commitment to advancing housing development in the province.
