Tackling Land Titling Issues in Khuzestan, Plot by Plot

According to the Public Relations Office of the National Land and Housing Organization, during a recent visit to Khuzestan Province, Ali Nabian, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and CEO of the National Land and Housing Organization, announced that land titling issues in the cities of Behbahan, Bandar Imam, and Shahr-e Sharafat are being addressed on a plot-by-plot basis.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his visit to National Housing Movement projects in the region, Nabian expressed his appreciation for the head of Khuzestan’s Judiciary, describing him as a principled and capable figure who, with a revolutionary spirit, has actively pursued solutions to the citizens’ land title challenges.

He also extended his gratitude to Mazloumi, the representative of Behbahan and Aghajari, for his dedicated efforts in resolving land titling issues in parts of Behbahan.

Nabian further stated: “Prior to the end of the year, during a visit to the province, a meeting was held with local officials and community leaders to address the documentation of land titles in parts of Behbahan County, the Kouy-e Motahari neighborhood in Bandar Imam, and Shahr-e Sharafat in Shushtar. All participants attended with the shared intent of resolving these issues, and ultimately, a resolution was drafted. Following this, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development issued a direct order for the implementation of necessary measures.”

He reaffirmed the Organization’s commitment to continuing this comprehensive, plot-by-plot effort until a definitive and lasting resolution is achieved for affected residents.
